I found out an old friend from the Iron Butterfly days passed yesterday. "Country" Joe McDonald was an amazing performer and I actually learned a lot just being around him. We did many shows together over the course of about 8 years. Joe was the one that told me to buy my first Martin acoustic guitar. I've got some funny stories from during the time we were around each other which probably need to go into my book. Peace Mr. McDonald.
